SUV Driver Attacked by Bikers Made a First Public Appearance

The Manhattan driver battered by a motorcycle mob silently exited his Manhattan apartment Friday, his injuries still visible nearly two weeks after the attack.

Alexian Lien sported sunglasses, a gray hoodie and stitches in his right cheek as he was photographed for the first time since a Sept. 29 video chronicled his beatdown.

Lien, 33, was not accompanied by his wife or daughter — who both witnessed the attack off the Henry Hudson Parkway. He said nothing as photographers and camera crews moved in to get his picture.

The stitches on his cheek were set off by bruises that have lingered long after he was yanked from behind the wheel of his SUV and assaulted.

Before Lien emerged, the NYPD undercover detective charged in the attack told the Daily News that he was doing OK despite his legal woes.

"I'm hanging in there," Wojciech Broszczok said as he ducked into a Manhattan courthouse for a hearing on his felony assault case.
