The Most Surprising Christmas Gifts Ever! by WestJet Airline

A Canadian Airline WestJet successfully pulled off a remarkable and creative Christmas magic for each of its  250 passengers on board flying out of the Toronto and Hamilton International Airports.  This must have been one of the greatest publicity marketing of the year if not a decade.

The video went viral on YouTube and truly leave heart-warming feeling for the viewers.

The airline set up electronic Santa chat boxes in the terminals of the two airports, where passengers (children and parents alike) were asked what they wanted for Christmas this year.

While the planes departed for their destination, 150 WestJet employees reportedly went on a shopping spree to purchase personalized presents for everyone on board.

One man clearly wishes he had asked for more, however, when he opens up a small package containing just socks and underwear.

WestJet spokesman Richard Bartrem commented, "This year, we wanted to turn our holiday campaign into a tradition by doing something that's never been done before".

"Inspired by the notion of real-time giving, we wanted to surprise our guests with meaningful, personalized gifts when they least expected them," he told Fox News.

"Being able to show our guests how much we care with gift-giving, a tried and true holiday tradition, resonates with WestJetters as much as our guests," he added.

Last year, the company set up a holiday flash mob in the middle of an airport. After receiving more than a half million video views, they donated flights to a family in need through their community investment program.

WestJet also made a promise to donate flights to families in need through the Ronald McDonald House Charities if 200,000 people watched the video.  And their goal is likely to be surpassed by 100 times as the views on YouTube is heading toward 20 million today.
