Are Minivans Safer in a Crash? Must Watch This!

The general consensus is that the bigger the safer when it comes car crashes.  However, that's not always the case when the vehicle meets fixed objects, especially at a off centered angle as seen in this video.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently performed small overlap crash test for the most popular minivans in the market.  The result is quite shocking.

Out of the four 2015 model minivans tested - Toyota Sienna, Nissan Quest, Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan - only Sienna earned acceptable rating.

The other three vehicles showed some of the worst outcomes ever seen in this type of test earning poor rating.

Last year, Honda Odyssey also earned a good rating.
